Reduce water consumption by 1% from 2024

Challenges and Opportunities

The Company has established a water management plan focusing on efficient water use and the maintenance of water quality within its operational processes, with regular monitoring and control of water consumption in production, together with measures to improve production processes so that water use is limited to what is necessary.

In addition, the Company operates a wastewater treatment system that meets recognised standards and continuously monitors water quality to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

The Company also places importance on recycling treated water for reuse in suitable processes, having begun studying improvements to enable water recycling and its application in other beneficial uses, in order to reduce the consumption of water from natural resources, as well as promoting the mindful use of water and raising employee awareness, thereby supporting sustainable water resource management over the long term.

Management Approach and Value Creation

Raw Water Sources

Raw water used in production processes is drawn from two sources:

Tap water: for the Rojana and Nopphawong factories

Groundwater: for the Nopphawong factory

Water Recycling

In 2025, the Company put treated water of acceptable quality from the Nopphawong factory to use in other activities. For example, containers were provided to store water after treatment, and treated water of acceptable quality was used in areas that do not affect production processes, including cleaning the ground around buildings, watering plants in areas surrounding the factory, and spraying roofs to reduce temperature.

In addition, the Company operates efficient wastewater treatment to ensure sufficient capacity to support expanding production, controls the quality of effluent from its factories in accordance with legal requirements through a high-quality wastewater treatment system, and manages the volume of treatment chemicals appropriately, thereby reducing monthly treatment costs.

Wastewater Quality Management

Wastewater quality measurement results met all legal assessment criteria. The Company measures water quality at least once every month, and throughout 2025 wastewater quality complied with the standards required by the legal assessment criteria.
