Materiality Assessment
Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Public Company Limited, or TKN, conducts a systematic materiality assessment on sustainability issues every year in order to identify and prioritise the issues with the greatest impact on its business operations and stakeholders, taking into account the context of the food industry, risks and opportunities arising from international regulations, and stakeholder expectations.
The assessment process in 2025 comprised internal organisational analysis, stakeholder engagement with key stakeholder groups, and consideration of international trends in line with the GRI Standards, the FTSE ESG Rating and the reporting guidelines of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The Company applies the assessment results in formulating clearly defined strategies, action plans and key performance indicators (KPIs), with the Board of Directors and senior management playing an important oversight role.
Material Topics Identified by the Company
Based on the information disclosed in the 2025 One Report (Sustainable Business Development section), the Company has grouped its material topics by order of priority as follows:
Climate change and greenhouse gas management
The Company has set targets of Carbon Neutrality by 2040 and Net-Zero Emissions by 2050. In 2025, Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions totalled 8,115 TonCO2e, or 1.72 TonCO2e per tonne of production (a decrease of 0.63% from the previous year), and reporting has been expanded to cover Scope 3.
Energy management and use of clean energy
Installation of a solar power system with a capacity of 2,000 kWp, generating 2,254,989 kWh of electricity, reducing electricity costs by THB 9,153,826 and reducing CO2 emissions by 1,127.27 TonCO2e. Clean energy accounted for 13% of total energy consumption.
Human rights, labour practices and employee development
Including the preparation of a Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) report, which is reviewed annually.
Corporate governance and anti-corruption
The Company is a member of the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC) and operates in accordance with good governance principles.

Management Approach and Value Creation
The Company integrates the results of its materiality assessment into its business strategy by defining action plans and clearly measurable indicators. Managing these issues helps mitigate risks arising from climate change and regulation, reduce production costs through clean energy and the circular economy, strengthen employee engagement (Employee Engagement of 86.4% in 2025), and reinforce the Company's image as an organisation genuinely committed to ESG development.

Monitoring and Disclosure
TKN will review its material topics annually and disclose its performance transparently through the Annual Report (One Report), enabling stakeholders to follow its progress and provide feedback.
