A collaborative project to develop food packaging from plastic waste using advanced recycling technology

Taokaenoi, in collaboration with SCGC and Dow, has launched a joint project to develop food packaging from plastic waste using advanced recycling technology. This process transforms difficult-to-recycle multi-layered plastics into food-grade plastic pellets and produces new seaweed packaging under a closed-loop circular economy concept. The goal is a commercial launch by the end of 2026, aiming to reduce plastic waste, create environmental value, and foster sustainable business growth.
